ADOPT-A-HIGHWAY PROGRAM NEEDS YOU!
You, your family, organization, or business can make a difference in our community! All it takes is a commitment
from you to pick up litter four (4) times a year and send us a report! Keep Brunswick-Golden Isles Beautiful will
supply all the trash bags, gloves, and safety vests needed for your pickup. A sign will also be placed in the area
you adopt with the name of your family, organization, or business to show your commitment to our community.

First Place Poster Winners from the Boys & Girls Club, SE GA representing the
GlynnVilla, Jane Macon, McIntyre Court, St. Simons and Terrill Thomas Clubs, gathered at
The Home Depot to promote Chirstmas Tree Recycling for the annual 2012 Bring One For The
Chipper Campaign. The Home Depot donated live Christmas trees to the first place winners.
All winning posters will be on display at Glynn Place Mall.

TMD Management, LLC DBA McDonald's and KBGIB recently sponsored the annual Do It Again!
Recycle Glynn! School's Paper Drive Contest as part of KBGIB's annual Fall Cleanup. Eleven local
schools participated in the Contest. Winners received McDonald's Extra Value Meal Coupons and
plaques from KBGIB. Over 66,108 lbs. or 33.1 tons of paper was collected and recycled during
the entire contest.

visited Goodyear Elementary to read the Christmas Story 'Clarence and Clara"
to help promote the annual Christmas Tree Recycling Campaign.

KBGIB Youth Advisory Council members Elizabeth Martin, Polly Howell, and Olivia McArthur
coordinated an America Recycles Day Contest on the high school camput. 125 students participated
in the Contest. Contest Winners were the Junior Class girls who collected 96 lbs. of plastic bottles.
